His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed said that His Highness, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, inspected these families and personally identified their needs and requirements, and His Highness’s directives to provide them with the best services clearly demonstrate the importance that the UAE attaches to its guests from the Afghan people and those affected by the repercussions of the situation there.
His Highness added, “The visit came as a true expression of solidarity with the Afghan people in their current circumstances. It also expresses a firm belief in the bonds of human brotherhood that the UAE is working to strengthen among peoples as the best means of unity and solidarity, deepening the values of goodness and virtue, and rejecting violence and hatred.”
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that the UAE’s humanitarian attitudes towards others are always reinforced by the positions and initiatives of its wise leadership that put people anywhere in the world and provide them with a decent life at the forefront of its priorities, without regard to their gender, religion, race or any inhumane considerations.
His Highness affirmed that the state will continue to provide humanitarian and relief assistance to the Afghan people during the coming period to mitigate the humanitarian effects of the current Afghan situation. (wam)
