Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan
The Egyptian journalist, Amr Adib, launched a scathing attack on the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, after he was subjected to a filming session in the port of Beirut, which witnessed a huge explosion and killed many people on the fourth of August last year.
Adeeb said in one of the episodes of the “Al-Hekaya” program that he presents on MBC Egypt: “Professor Dr. Muhammad Ramadan did something that caused the Lebanese people to suffer and resent him.”
He added, “Ramadan underwent a filming session in the port of Beirut, which is the place that witnessed the end of many lives in Lebanon. What caused the excitement of the Lebanese… Ramadan took a photoshoot and merged his song on it, as if this site could be a place for filming .. I apologize to the Lebanese for what he did.”
Amr Adib asked: “Why does he do that, does he think that the world is closed, as if no one knows him and does not hear him, our Lord guides him.”
A dispute recently broke out between the artist, Mohamed Ramadan, and the media, Amr Adib, who reached the Egyptian judiciary, as the dispute is due to Amr Adib’s comment on Mohamed Ramadan’s behavior by throwing money into the air, ignoring the response to his case with the deceased pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yusr, as Amr Adib said during one of his episodes on the program. The story is “I’m running from you”. Mohamed Ramadan decided to file a case of insult and slander against Amr Adib, noting that he deviated from the context of the episode and the media charter, and Amr Adib was fined 10 thousand pounds, and 50 thousand pounds for attorney fees, which is a first-degree ruling.
