The race produced by the Ramat Yishai Council through the community center took place on the week of Sukkot for the 15th time after a one-year break due to the corona virus. The riders participated in two popular and competitive tracks and were launched by the head of the council, Ofer Ben Eliezer. After a year-long break due to the corona virus, the Ramat Yishai bicycle race was held on Sukkot in memory of Rafi Ben Hakon with the participation of hundreds of riders. The race was held for the 15th year in Ramat Yishai and about 650 participants from all over the country and of course the residents of Ramat Yishai were sent to it, who conveyed an unequivocal message: life must continue alongside the corona while maintaining the general and the guidelines.
Participants enjoyed a number of routes to choose from according to difficulty levels and age, popular short 14 km, and long competitive 30 km.
The riders were started by the head of the council, Ofer Ben Eliezer, who honors the event every year in his presence, from the Jubilee Brigade in Ramat Yishai and passed through the fields of the Jezreel Valley. The event was secured by the Israel Police, ushers, MDA as well as dozens of volunteers who enabled safe riding for the hundreds of riders.
On the popular route, a luxurious refreshment station was installed in the complex, which included: Refreshments, music, drinks, and a special ninja facility, where throughout the event participants enjoyed refreshments, cold drinks, and a free coffee stand.
At the end, shirts and medals were distributed to all participants, as well as trophies to the winners in the first places.
